Report from Crime Watch Recently, individuals have been targeting this area for residential burglaries. The subjects are knocking on doors to locate unoccupied homes. If a resident answers the door, the subjects may ask for a person who does not reside there then move on to another location. (IF noone answers or barks, then they might break in and steal your computer, iPod and Jewelry - Art) These subject are traveling in stolen vehicles from other communities. As a result, the Boca Raton Police Services Department is asking for the residents in the communities to IMMEDIATELY report any suspicious activity, vehicles, or subjects that are observed in the area. Remember to secure your residence, be aware of your surroundings, and pass this information on to your neighbors. Thanks to John Harris for monitoring Crime Watch

During construction, at least two lanes will remain open in each direction during morning and afternoon rush hours. And one lane will remain open in each direction at all other times. In addition to resurfacing, portions of the road will be reconstructed and other parts widened to extend left-turn lanes. Traffic signals will get updates--they will either be replaced or get pedestrian and vehicle detection systems. Also drainage, landscaping, and irrigation will be added along the four-lane road.
